About SkinOps
An independent directory that makes it easier to find and compare private minor skin surgery in England.
Last updated 13 September 2026
Why we built SkinOps
Many common skin procedures, such as removing a harmless mole, skin tag or cyst for cosmetic reasons, are not usually available on the NHS. People are often left searching clinic websites one at a time, trying to work out who offers what, how much it costs and whether a clinic is properly registered.
SkinOps brings that information together in one place, so you can compare providers near you and contact them directly.
What we do
- List private clinics, hospitals and GP practices that offer minor skin surgery privately.
- Show prices where we have them and Care Quality Commission (CQC) ratings.
- Show where each piece of information came from and when we last checked it.
- Link you straight to the provider to ask questions or book.
What we do not do
- We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
- We do not recommend individual providers or take bookings on their behalf.
- We do not ask for your medical details or track you around the web.
How we are funded
Listing a provider is free. Providers can pay for a featured listing, which appears in a separate, clearly labelled section of search results. Paying never changes the checks we carry out, the information we show or the order of the main results.
Where our information comes from
We use official data such as the CQC register, information providers give us and our own research. Everything is reviewed by our team before it is published. Read more about how we check providers.
